Aurasma has been nice enough to provide us with some great tips on how to use the app. Rather than re-type them I'll post images so you can view.
When you first launch Aurasma it seems pretty simple and blank. Press the "A" shaped button at the bottom of the screen this will bring up your menu as well as your explore area. You can then follow the steps above but I'll be nice and break it down a bit for you as well.
First, click the "+" at the bottom of the page (this brings you to the create mode). You can use some of the overlays they have designed or you can create your own. To create your own select: "device" on the bottom right of the screen.

It's a pretty blank screen, so click the "+" sign at the top right. Then select where you want the overlay to come from. In this case we want to use the photo album because we will be using the movie trailer we just created.
Select the video from your camera roll and the click "Use"
Once the video is loaded, press "select". Name your overlay, press "public" and select "Finish".
Now you will create the Aura. Name the aura (I named this "sbox01" and click "Finish". To create your Aura you will need an image... this one was way too blurry. At the bottom center of the screen you'll see a red/yellow/green bar. You want it Green or it won't work.
You can now see that it is green. Click the camera button with the right facing chevron. You can maneuver your overlay and adjust it as you like. Then give your Aura a new name, press "public" and click "Finish". You have just created your very own Augmented Reality Aura! Congratulations!
